QA&TEST 2025 Safety and Cybersecurity - Madrid, April 3 and 4.
QA&TEST Safety and Cybersecurity is the annual conference organized by Software Quality Systems, focusing on addressing the aspects of safety and cybersecurity in an integrated manner during the whole development cycle of products and systems.
Today, it is impossible to think of a system as safe without being cybersecure. Systems are becoming hyper connected and increasingly complex, which compels us to equip ourselves with technologies and approaches that allow us to tackle such complexity. It is in this context that QA&TEST Safety and Cybersecurity was born, with the aim of providing a grounded and integrated response to this growing need in the industry.
In this context, QA&TEST Safety and Cybersecurity will celebrate its fifth edition in Madrid on the 3rd and 4th April 2025.
Call for papers
Deadline of the call for papers: November 30th.
The programme for this fifth edition of QA&TEST Safety and Cybersecurity will be selected through a call for papers to be evaluated by our international committee of experts.
We expect to receive proposals that address the integration of Safety and Cybersecurity requirements throughout the entire system development cycle, ensuring the implementation and operation of Safe and Cybersecure systems while meeting the planned deadlines, budget, and expectations of different stakeholders.
We will welcome different approaches to the integration of safety and cybersecurity at various levels, including:
- Standardization
- System implementation, focusing on any phase of the life cycle (conception, design, validation, verification, etc.)
- Specific technical challenges and strategies to overcome them
- Success stories and practical experiences
We encourage the participation of specific sectors of activity such as railway, automotive, medical devices, critical infrastructures, etc. We would like to receive innovative technological or methodological approaches across any domain.

How to submit a proposal
To submit a proposal to the call for papers for QA&TEST Safety and Cybersecurity, follow these steps:
Prepare your proposal
Think of a 45-minute presentation or workshop related to the topics suggested and create an abstract (no more than 500 words indicating title, topic to be addressed, relevance for the market and for the community and main ideas).
Ensure that your proposal is relevant to the conference objectives and contains innovative and high-quality content.

Create a presentation video (optional)
If you are a new speaker at QA&TEST conferences, it is recommended to create a 3–5-minute presentation video where you introduce yourself, describe your proposal, and highlight its novelty and relevance to the conference, as mentioned in the abstract.

Deadline
Remember that the call for papers will close on November 30, 2024.
Make sure to submit your proposal before that date to be considered for evaluation.
Evaluation
The received proposals will be evaluated by the international committee of experts for QA&TEST Safety and Cybersecurity. The evaluation will be based on the relevance of the topic, the quality of the content, and the innovation of the proposal.
Your proposal will be thoroughly evaluated and you may expect a response from the Conference Organization Committee in a one-month period.
