Industrial cybersecurity is a very complex and multidisciplinary area, but there are three main objectives that cut across all types of companies: designing secure infrastructures, ensuring that production lines are operational and maintaining the resilience of critical and interconnected services. The railway sector is no exception, from the manufacturing side to the operation and maintenance phases.

At QA&TEST Safety and Cybersecurity 2025 we will analyze the technological opportunities and challenges facing this sector in the quest for clean, safe, and competitive transportation. To this end, it is necessary to delve into issues such as the impact generated by cybersecurity requirements in the manufacture of trains, the integration of cybersecurity processes in testing or the interaction between trains and the complex infrastructure that circulates around them. Join us and discover the views of our experts!

Pablo Garrido has a PhD in Industrial Engineering and works as Project Manager at Talgo, where he has led several projects in recent years. He is currently leading the largest project in the history of this railway company: the new ‘ICE L’ high-speed trains for Germany.

We will also be joined by David Muñiz, Director of Cybersecurity at Patentes Talgo. Since 2019 he leads the governance, protection and innovation of the company’s cybersecurity, its products and services. You can listen to both on Thursday, April 3 at 09:30 in the first Keynote, under the name of: ‘Security and Cybersecurity: challenges and features in the Railway Industry’.
