We finally have a glimpse of the names of the first speakers who will participate in the QA&TEST Safety and Cybersecurity 2024 conference, an annual event that brings together experts in the field of software quality, security, and cybersecurity.

This year, the conference promises to be more impactful than ever, and the announced speakers have generated great anticipation. The selected specialists cover various areas, from software engineering to risk management and cybersecurity.

Among the highlighted speakers is Jan Tobias Mühlberg, a professor at Université libre de Bruxelles, École Polytechnique (BE), who researches topics related to privacy and security of information and communication systems. He has a special interest in dependable embedded systems and secure critical ICT infrastructures, as well as interdisciplinary research on questions related to the responsible and sustainable development and use of ICTs.

Another speaker who will deliver a talk is Elena Labrador, a young RAMS engineer with experience in critical systems in the aerospace, space, and railway industries. Her presentation will explore security and protection in space traffic management, showcasing work done in the analysis addressing on-orbit satellite operations, focusing in the assurance of the sustainability of the space environment..

The QA&TEST Safety and Cybersecurity 2024 conference will also feature the participation of Iñaki García Brito, a computer engineer passionate about embedded and critical safety systems. He will share his experiences in safety and security, an introduction to  QorIQ Trust Architectures applications in critical applications.
